Frequentis and IBM Global Business Services receive an award for their outstanding project
management performance in the context of the UCMP-project.
The award honoured the performance of both companies within the framework of the UCMP-project carried out for the British Ministry of Defence.
UCMP (UK Air Defence Ground Environment Capability Maintenance Programme) is a comprehensive defence project for Great Britain's air defence system. It comprises two control and reporting centres, a combined air operations centre, as well as several remote sites, which are linked via a WAN. The project came to a successful conclusion with the formal inauguration of the second Royal Air Force Centre in Scampton, back in January 2006.
International project business, planning, development and implementation of individual customer solutions are success factors for the Austrian high-tech company. “The MCA Management Technology Award is a very special award to us. It underlines the exceptional performance of the Frequentis project management, our know-how and experience, which we were able to build up internationally”, says Hannes Bardach, Managing Director of Frequentis, a company which elebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
