Mid August saw the long awaited annoucement that O2 Airwave and SunGard Vivista have been successful in their bid to provide a communications service together with associated control room equipment to all Ambulance Trusts in England. When the system is installed, reliable voice and data services will help improve ambulance response times and help enhance the scope of care delivery by paramedics at incident scenes.
