Conference designed to meet CCA requirements
With the growing number of challenges from diverse sources, such as the threat of disasters from natural and man-made scenarios, to addressing the requirements of the CCA and meeting organisational changes, The BAPCO Conference and Exhibition is set to make a serious impact. Continuing with our series of previews, this month we take a closer look at the conference programme, underlining why it is one that should be highlighted on your calendar...
The ninth international, conference organised by the British Association of Public Safety Communication Officers (BAPCO) has been designed specifically for professionals with responsibilities for public safety and civil contingencies to exchange ideas, experience and knowledge. Focussing on the needs of the user and providing an insight into how future technologies will help improve public safety. Moreover, for 2007, the event will also run a series of dedicated workshops on each day of the conference to allow delegates to tailor the conference to specific needs.
An opportunity will also arise to debate issues raised and share ideas, experience and best practice with colleagues. Findings from these sessions will go towards BAPCO’s official recommendations to government bodies regarding policy and practice of public safety and civil contingencies delivery.
