Sepura TETRA radio interface for Zetrons DCS-5020 Console
Zetron and Sepura are pleased to announce the compatibility of the DCS-5020 Digital Console System with the Sepura SRM3500 Mobile TETRA Radio.
The DCS-5020 is Zetrons small to mid-sized operator console system integrating analogue and digital radio control and telephony services. Through the PEI (Peripheral Equipment Interface) on the Sepura radio the DCS-5020 provides operator access to TETRA Networks through one or more Sepura TETRA radios. Through the SRM3500 interface the Zetron Radio dispatcher can access TETRA networks around the world. This wireless connection to the TETRA Network is an alternative to direct line connection to the infrastructure and provides benefits in system flexibility and operating costs. The DCS-5020 supports voice and data services for individual and group calls.
