BAPCO is a ‘user led’ professional members Association that has made a significant impact in the field of public safety/civil contingency integrated communications and information management systems and is taking a leading role in improving the knowledge of, and debate in, these areas through conferences, seminars, meetings, the BAPCO Journal and the web site.
We are now seeking a dynamic, self-motivated person to further develop the administration and marketing services of the Association, to provide support to the regional committees, and to provide assistance to the Executive Director.
The selected person will be totally committed to the development of BAPCO in terms of enhancing the professional services, marketing, and profile of the Association and in increasing membership and will possess the administrative, marketing and organizational skills necessary to do this. A knowledge of public safety/civil contingency organisation and issues is desirable but not necessary.
The post is a full time appointment (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) based on flexible working hours, with the successful applicant also enjoying the benefit of home working for which a generous allowance will be paid.
The remuneration being offered is negotiable in the range £17,000 to £24,000 per annum depending on experience plus expenses.
