It will provide information and communications technology (ICT) services to the UK public sector under the Government’s Public Services Network (PSN) Services Framework contract.

Vodafone was successfully selected in all six chosen categories:

Lot 1    Communications services

Lot 3    Video conferencing

Lot 5    Call and contact centre

Lot 6    Mobile voice and data

Lot 7    Paging

Lot 10  Unified services

Established by The Cabinet Office, PSN is a framework designed to significantly reduce the cost and simplify the process of procuring communications services across UK Government, so public sector employees can devote more time to their core functions - which will ultimately benefit the British public.

Simon Holmyard, Head of PSN at Vodafone UK said: “We’re delighted to be selected as a provider for the PSN Services framework. We believe we have some of the best experience and technology available in the UK and we’re very much looking forward to providing our products and services to new customers who may not have had access to such innovative solutions before.

“Having worked closely with many public sector customers for over 25 years, we fully understand the requirement for many government departments to deliver cost savings while increasing productivity. With our solid experience and extensive industry knowledge we are eminently prepared to help new and existing public sector customers begin their transformation and find better ways of working.”
