TETRA solution in Brazil

Teltronic is to provide a Nebula system for the Military Police of the Brazilian Federal Capital. This project will provide public safety and security users within the city the benefits that TETRA technology offers.

Middle East for APD

APD Communications has announced its launch into the Middle East market by showcasing its range of Control Room, Mobile Data and Vehicle and Resource Location products at the TETRA Experience 2006 Dubai.

SMS for army

British soldiers, can now communicate via SMS text messaging. The two-way text messaging service will be run through ArmyNET, the Army's secure web portal, and is provided by PageOne. The service is part of an ongoing trial involving many elements of the Army, notably the Spearhead Lead Element Battalion, 3 Division HQ, 20 Brigade, and elements of the TA including the Civil Contingency Reserve.

TETRA aids games

A nationwide TETRA network was supplied for Qatar to provide secure communications during the Asian Games with ACCESSNET®-T from R&S BICK Mobilfunk. The network was supplied, installed, and put into operation during the summer last year.

BAPCO donation

Last month BAPCO donated a cheque for £2000 to SEBDA. The money was raised at the BAPCO 2006 Gala Dinner.
