Mountain mapping
Mountain rescue volunteers across Great Britain have extra help to manage emergency response under a new agreement with Ordnance Survey. More than 80 local teams have access to digital mapping data at 1: 25,000 scale to support their growing use of GPS technology on hand-held devices.
