New alliance to tackle cyber crime
International Cyber Security Protection Alliance brings together, for the first time, business, government and law enforcement on an international scale.
The International Cyber Security Protection Alliance (ICSPA) is a global not-for-profit organization established to channel funding, expertise and assistance to assist law enforcement cyber crime units in both domestic and international markets. Members of ICSPA include Cassidian, McAffee, Visa, Trend Micro, Yodel, Transactis, Core Security technologies and Shop Direct Group. Europol is a Strategic Law Enforcement Partner.
Cassidian’s high edge cyber experts will collaborate with the new alliance of major organizations, law enforcement agencies and governments to tackle cyber crime.
Cassidian plans to share the knowledge, intelligence and best practice gained from many years of experience in the cyber security domain.
Cassidian delivers specialized training courses and technical solutions that help governments and enterprises increase their cyber awareness, understand the latest forms of cyber attack, identify their risks and vulnerabilities, establish prevention strategies and implement solutions that quickly identify and mitigate cyber-attacks.
“Cassidian’s long track record of providing the latest Cyber detection and prevention solutions to global defence and government customers uniquely positions us to support the ICSPA in its mission of helping international law enforcement agencies take offensive action against cyber criminality,” said Hervé Guillou, CEO Cassidian Systems. “We fully welcome the opportunity to collaborate with the ICSPA, government and industry to tackle this serious global issue. We recognise that Cyber training particularly, will be a critical tool in raising awareness and educating officials about the increasing threat of cyber criminality.”
