Imass has been awarded a contract to supply its proven Mobile Data solution to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Imass will be delivering the fully integrated Central Management System - CMS, in-vehicle based Operational Information System - OIS and the Automatic Information Update System -AIUS. The system will be deployed on four strategically placed vehicles as part of a mobile data pilot. Craig McIntosh, Senior invested in excess of 900 Imass OIS systems for front line appliances and major response vehicles. Testimony to the successful joint working and collaboration between the UK Fire Services and Imass in the on-going development of this key system aimed at improving the Health and Safety of front line personnel and other stakeholders whilst making a significant contribution to an efficient and effective service. to deploy a Mobile Data Solution to compliment that already utilised by both Humberside and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and inline with potential future convergence". The full Imass "end to end" solution is now utilised by Fire and Rescue Authorities in England, Scotland and Wales with an additional 18 FRA’s using elements of the Imass Risk Management system. The Fire Services of the UK and associated organisations have Operations Policy & Planning Officer for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service stated "We selected Imass as the supplier for our Mobile Data Pilot after thorough market analysis. Imass demonstrated a proven track record in successfully delivering fully integrated Mobile Data Solutions to the UK Fire and Rescue Services and ab true understanding of our requirements here in West Yorkshire. “Their competitive and professional tender submission coupled with their established user base in our region will allow WYFRS to deploy a Mobile Data Solution to compliment that already utilised by both Humberside and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and inline with potential future convergence".
