This year's BAPCO Conference will feature notable international speakers from the world's leading public safety teams including:
Julie Stinson, Project Manager, 5 Star Team, will present on the '2010 Winter Olympics Communications Planning in Washington State'. This presentation is a ‘must-see’ for all communications officers and planners who are involved in the 2012 Olympics and will open the conference at 2pm on Tuesday 20th April.
Charles F. Dowd, Deputy Chief of the N.Y.P.D. Communications Division, will be giving the opening plenary session on Wednesday 21st April on ‘New York City Interoperability Today - and the Future of it’s Public Safety Communications’.
Paul Holman, Operations Manager – Specialist Emergency response Department, Ambulance Victoria, will give an insight into Australia’s summer of 2009 entitled 'Visited by Hell and all its Fury'. This presentation will outline the principles and key features of the Ambulance Victoria Emergency Response Plan in addition to its application in the Victorian Heat Wave in January 2009 and the catastrophic “Black Saturday” bushfire event of February 2009.
Exhibitors:
CFocus,a Dutch consulting company specialised in Sales and Project Consulting, will be exhibiting their latest mobile data solutions on stand 544. These include their Infostream X5 IP67/ATEX POCSAG/FLEX Pager, TETRAtab’s Mobile PC Platform (pictured) and Zenitel Cable Monitor for Confined Areas BlueBox Emergency Management platform.
Aculab will be providing world class IP and media processing technology and application ready products, including gateways to the global communications market (pictured). Their innovative, deployment proven, high performance products provide the essential components required to deliver multimodal voice, data, fax and video solutions for use within IP, PSTN and mobile networks. Visit them on stand 260.
Spectracom will be exhibiting their NetClock GPS master clock (right), which is used by over 4,500 public safety and first responder agencies to time-stamp and synchronize critical devices and systems such as computer networks, radio consoles, voice recorders, CCTV, event loggers and automatic controls. It is fully compliant to next-generation emergency call systems and security standards and will be exhibited on stand 134.
