Warning and informing the public conference – ensuring civil awareness and resilience
The conference will take place on Thursday 13th March in central London (venue to be confirmed). A half-day workshop entitled Connecting in a crisis – building strong media relationships will also take place on the 14th of March (delegates who attend both events will receive a 20 per cent discount).
The event will bring together key stakeholders and Category 1 responders to explore ways to deliver the accurate, coordinated and effective communications crucial to ensuring public welfare in times of crisis. Issues covered will include:
- How to improve your communications strategy by streamlining emergency response processes and strengthening links with other organisations, the media and the public.
- Getting to grips with new technologies and their impact on service delivery and efficiency.
- Ways to adapt, develop and improve your communications and response strategies utilising lessons learned during recent crises.
