Australia’s five-star welcome to Sepura
Sepura has secured its first sales win in Australia with one of the country's top hotel resorts choosing its TETRA digital radios to replace an analogue system. Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove is a five star resort hotel on the Gold Coast, Queensland, with luxuriously equipped Colonial-style buildings set among lush, tropical gardens and golf courses. The contract to supply SRH3800 hand-held radios was achieved in partnership with National Wireless, a specialist in providing wireless communication on campus sites. Instead of two-way analogue radios the resort will have multi-functional and robust digital radios that will give secure, clear and reliable voice and data communications. No longer will calls suffer noise interference or risk from eavesdroppers. The radio network will have complete coverage of all buildings and surrounds across the extensive complex, giving instant communication to benefit customers and staff. Talk groups and data messaging will help specific work groups to communicate and be kept informed instantly. Strictly private calls will be possible by both radio and the hotel's phone system. An emergency call button will also alert all staff in the event of a crisis. Mark Wood, Sales Manager for National Wireless, said: "This is a truly prestigious location to mark Sepura's entrance onto the Australian market. The sales win has been achieved thanks to the outstanding performance of the radios and a first-class Customer Support service." Kevin Graham, Sepura's Regional Director for Australia, said: "I am sure this will be the springboard for Sepura and TETRA becoming widely used throughout Australia.
