Resilient Communication Strategies for Emergency Management
This is a two day course being delivered by the Emergency Planning College on
17-19 December 2007. It is aimed at those who are required to determine the
strategies to provide their organisations with a resilient and flexible communications
platform that will function successfully under emergency conditions.
It will help you to design, plan and review the communication systems and the strategy that you rely on in an emergency. You will learn how to effectively evaluate and develop more resilient communication systems and consider the platforms and systems that offer the best solutions to your organisation. This course encourages you to consider the importance of diversity, resilience, interoperability and flexibility of communication systems and helps you to determine the process for auditing your own communication capabilities.
