Iconic Group introduces OpenHand a very real competitor to both Blackberry and Microsoft. OpenHand provides the ability to check, create and modify business email, calendar, contact and public folders and files from a mobile phone.
The system utilises real-time encrypted access to military standards. OpenHand is fully centrally managed from the server giving the user complete control of the levels of security required. OpenHand does not pass through a third party server in which is seen as a major security issue in many areas.
OpenHand costs £11 per user with no charge for the server software. It is compatible with over 260 mobile devices plus long-term contracts are not imposed, a simple 30 Days notice agreement gives users ultimate flexibility. OpenHand also works with any mobile phone carrier this means that it compliments the mobile deal rather than dictating it.
