New version of Secude secure notebook

Published:
09 April, 2007

Secude has launched secure notebook 8.0 - the next generation of its popular notebook encryption solution.

The secure notebook reliably protects confidential business or personal data on notebooks and desktops and external mass storage devices from unauthorised third party access.

Unlike other solutions Secude secure notebook 8.0 encrypts the entire hard disk rather than just individual files or folders, which means it protects temporary files, swap files, hibernation files and even the operating system itself. Security is extended to the highest level through the use of a Linux based pre-boot authentication (PBA) system prior to starting Windows - increasing the range of hardware supported particularly in regard to new hard disks and further system components.
