North Yorkshire Police purchase I/Disclosure system from Intergraph
North Yorkshire Police becomes third force to purchase public safety systems specialist Intergraph's 'I/Disclosure' software, which supports the local police checking process for Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) vetting.
North Yorkshire Police completes some 100,000 CRB applications per annum and Cleveland and Surrey police forces are already using I/Disclosure, which interfaces with the CRB's own web-based CRM (customer relationship management) system. I/Disclosure speeds the local and PNC searches that a police force needs to complete for the CRB (Home Office Agency), increasing accuracy by doing away with the need to re-key data and improving throughput, say Intergraph.
The system maintains a local database of disclosure applications dealt with by the police force, holding a copy of the results that are sent to CRB. A full audit trail is maintained of the activities carried out on each record, which can be referred to later.
