The Aerospace & Defence Group at Frost & Sullivan has announced it will be hosting an online analyst briefing presentation on Tuesday, 22 September, 2009 at 14:00 BST, to analyse communication and surveillance trends, end user challenges and technology market drivers.

The European first responders'  C3I market is currently undergoing a shift in the adoption of new technologies that link legacy systems while implementing next-generation solutions. Communication forms the vital core of this capability. However, multiple challenges such as limited budgets and unclear policies thwart efforts to enhance this vital need. It is imperative that these challenges be addressed to enable governments and agencies to offer citizens vital life-saving services.

This briefing will benefit market participants such as component manufacturers, retailers and distributors, and end users such as government departments and first responder agencies.

"Communications technology and services constitute the essential backbone for first responders. In today's unpredictable social environment wherein the services of first responders is invaluable, communication robustness is of paramount importance. Interoperable and dependable communication is the need of the hour," observes Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst, Major Sabbir Ahmed (rtd).
