Mobile data conference details announced

AIMTech Research Group and Leeds University Business School announce that their conference "Mobile Data: where do we go now?" will take place on Tuesday January 20, 2009, at Weetwood Hall Conference Centre in Leeds.

The conference aims to address some of the longer term issues that will allow police forces and public safety organisations in the UK to drive long-term benefits out of succesful technological initiatives and real business gains.The conference has two themes:

 

Making what we have deliver a real benefit for us now:

This theme aims to cover key issues for the mid-term future and to identify the key business area which need to be involved in the business changes required to make full use of mobile data initiatives.

Using mobile data to take public safety in the United Kingdom forward

This theme aims to cover the key issues which will impact on the process of setting overall strategy, taking account of the potentials and the impacts of mobile data. This will include environmental scanning and highlighting of key technologoies which will impact in the near to midterm future.
