New NLPG Software Assists in the Civil Contingency Sector
Aligned Assets, a supplier in the address gazetteer and GIS fields, has recently been awarded a contract from British Transport Police (BTP), who recognised Aligned Assets NLPG accredited Symphony Suite could help in tackling crime by streamlining their location information.
With the take up by the BTP, interest in how Aligned Assets’ products and services can be utilised in other parts of the civil contingency and business continuity sector has started to escalate.
With this in mind, Aligned Assets will be attending this years ‘British Association of Public Safety Communications Officers’ (BAPCO) exhibition being held at the Business Centre, Islington, London on 23-24 April 2008.
Their team of specialists will be on hand to demonstrate and explain the software that saves time, money, resources and in the cases of emergency situations, lives.
Aligned Assets’ Sales and Marketing Manager Mike Smith explained the benefits, “With our gazetteer software we can enable organizations that are geographical diverse to unify their addressing, mapping and spatial information into one centrally held database.”
