Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service (UK), Laboratoire Central de le Prefecture de Police (FR) and Northumbria Police (UK) have pleasure in hosting the “Fire Crime in Europe Conference 2008” on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th September 2008 at the Marriott Gosforth Park Hotel, Newcastle.
The conference forms part of a European Commission Directorate-General for Environment funded project entitled: "European Exchange of Best Practice in Arson Prevention and Investigation". Both the project and the conference aim to facilitate and encourage a greater level of communication and collaboration between Fire, Police, Forensic, and Government practitioners working to prevent and investigate fire crime throughout Europe. Presentation and workshop sessions delivered during this event will showcase and discuss best practice initiatives that have been successfully implemented in a number of European countries.
